WSU UMADD

Welcome

UMADD is a campus-based student organization comprised of students, campus and community leaders, and law enforcement who are concerned about underage and high-risk drinking behaviors.

The UMADD program educates and activates student leaders who want to make positive changes within the WSU campus and community.  The UMADD program provides student leaders with current prevention practices, the latest research, and resources to make a real impact.

The Goals of WSU UMADD:

  • prevent alcohol use of those students under the age of 21
  • prevent impaired driving and high-risk drinking for those of legal drinking age
  • promote MADD's mission - to stop drunk driving, support the victims of this violent crime and prevent underage drinking - on campus
  • develop and build leadership skills for college students
